About Mark

Mark is a modern Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with a holistic approach to women’s wellness. Apart from his extensive background in herbal medicine and an excess of a decade of experience in acupuncture, his skills span a range of complementary modalities like Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, which he integrates with TCM.

Mark’s strong area of interest lies in women’s reproductive health, especially in the treatment of gynecological ailments like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and subfertility. He has worked at two natural birth clinics in Bali, which includes vision-focused Rumah Sehat Madani as well as the renowned, award-winning Bumi Sehat Bali.

His work covers the whole spectrum of women’s health issues before, during and after pregnancy. His popular ‘Happy Baby’ treatment is a pre-natal program that helps mothers with pregnancy-related issues like unresolved stress, insomnia, nausea, water retention, aches and pains.

Mark was trained at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and various hospitals in China, including the Jiangsu State Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Qin Huai Hospital of Chinese Medicine and the Jiangsu People’s Hospital where his training included using TCM in conjunction with western fertility treatments. Mark is available for speaking engagements, workshops and lectures and continues to conduct educational programs twice a year in China for the Oregon College of Chinese Medicine and the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in China.

While Mark is focused on natural healing, he also places importance on lab tests and imaging technology, ensuring a complete solution for his patients. Mark’s other areas of focus/interest include the treatment of psychosomatic disorders as well as the management of topical steroid withdrawal (Red Burning Skin Syndrome). For those interested in making an appointment, please fill out and submit the ‘Appointment Booking’ form.
